ALGSS presents ‘Carmen’ at the Watford Palace Theatre, Watford from 8-10th February!
For the first time in Watford Palace Theatre history ALGSS brings the searing opera ‘Carmen’ to its stage. Bizet‘s Spanish-inflected score is brimming with passionate melodies and famous numbers such as Carmen’s seductive ‘Habanera’ and Escamillo’s ‘Toreador song’.
Set in the heat of Seville, ‘Carmen’ is an enduring story of passion, lust, jealousy, obsession, and revenge.
ALGSS are delighted to be bringing Rory Bremner’s gritty translation of this work to the stage.
